Leak Testing Machine
A customer of a major die casting company changed their design of a current production piece.
A new machine was required in order to continue the ongoing production of the current part and transition to the new part. New tooling was required.
We started with the customer's drawings and designed a machine to meet the customer specifications, reduce the inspection test cycle time,
lower operator fatigue and provide this solution to meet the transition timeline.
Our solution was a new machine, designed specifically for this part. The machine features the latest in pressure decay control technology and integrates with data collection systems.
Safety features were designed in, not "added on". The machine is ergonomically friendly in order to reduce operator fatigue; physically, visually and audibly.
Floor space required for the Varner Engineering machine was 40% of the existing machine.
